When we made the decision to expand our ‘The Wheel Specialist’ headquarters premises we quickly chose Vantage & Co for the construction as we knew the quality of the service and finish through some mutual acquaintances that had had work completed by the team previously.

Before works even started we knew the decision was the right one as Stephen and his team proved to be professional and responsive to changes and in listening to our visions and helping us to bring them to fruition.

The same level of service continued once the build was underway, and our project manager Martyn liaised with us with all key queries, making sure we had time to formulate informed decisions and choices with finishing’s. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and we would have no hesitation in using Vantage & Co again, and have recommended them on to several of our friends.

We are so happy with the finished product. The space we now have has transformed the way we are able to work and it is a genuinely lovely environment to come to work in every day – a sentiment all of our team here at The Wheel Specialist agree with.

The biggest accolade was last weekend when one of my long term best friends called in for lunch. He used to run his own construction company and in the late 90’s we had a JV building prisons. He is not easily impressed but when he saw the room it left him speechless which I can safely say is the first time I have ever seen that happen. He absolutely loved it and was blown away by the room as he had no idea exactly what we were building.

The brief was to create a modern design whilst being sympathetic to the character of the property. Working with Vantage & Co on this project was a pleasure from start to finish, both in terms of the team and the end product. Stephen Rankin, construction director was experienced, knowledgeable and easy to work with, especially given the inherent problems a renovation can throw at a design team and contractors, particularly when working on a period property. Vantage were always able to offer advice or solutions for the work including extra works and finishing’s to assist in the final completion. The whole team were flexible in their approach and the smallest of details were never overlooked.

This flawlessly designed & beautifully curated home is a feast for the eyes, with a completely bespoke aesthetic. The success of this project simply comes down to the relationship between the design & construction team.
